Building A Strong Foundation Through Play

While engaged in play based experiences with the blocks, children are developing conceptual understandings of mathematics and of mathematical thinking and reasoning. Further, they are able to explore their curiosity about the world around them and connect their prior knowledge to new contexts.

 

Building blocks encourage children to connect to others and contribute to their world. As you can see in the pictures, children are bridging literacy learning with a kinesthetic experience, demonstrating their ability to be effective communicators.
